CATASTROPHE!
A sharp cracking noise echoed through the cabin. It was followed by a howling that Scott had heard only during alarm practises.
"Emergency," said Vale briefly.
Suddenly there was a violent explosion, and the lights went out. The Station was no longer steady - it was shuddering. Then came the second signal - a wavering, high-pitched siren that could mean only one thing.
"We've been holed!" rasped Vale.
Scott Saunders, winner of a space scholarship, starts his career as an astronaut on Space Station One.
But it's not long before he discovers that one of his colleagues is a deadly traitor...
